Webinar: A Fulfilling Career in Philanthropy
July 18, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Just a few things we’ll cover in this month’s webinar:
✔ What can I do to avoid burnout?
✔ What opportunities and resources exist to help me grow in my career?
✔ What do nonprofits look for in their development staff?
We will explore this and more! Registration is required.
Jess Green, Presenter
Jess Green has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years, helping small and medium sized nonprofits achieve their missions through strategic fundraising and marketing. In 2014, she received her M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego. Jess has since relocated back to her home state of Virginia where she continues to pursue her personal mission to help nonprofits and passionate people work smarter not harder to change the world. In 2017 she launched MinimalistFundraising.com, a place for newbie and veteran fundraisers to get real about where to focus their limited time and resources to raise more money for their cause. Jess is currently proud to bring her love of the outdoors together with her love of fundraising as the Director of Philanthropy at the Shenandoah National Park Trust, the official nonprofit partner of Virginia’s backyard national park. When she’s not hiking in Shenandoah, Jess and her husband Ty can be found hanging out at home with their three cats or enjoying the water at the nearest lake, river, or beach.
